Girls Basketball (November 3rd - January 22nd)

We are excited to share the details for our upcoming Girls’ Basketball Program! As we gear up for another great year on the court, we wanted to provide a preview of what athletes and parents can expect for the 2025-26 season.

Our program is designed to foster athletic growth, sportsmanship, and team spirit for girls in 5th through 8th grade.

Program Structure

To provide the best competitive experience and skill development, the program features two combined age groups:

  • 5th & 6th Grade Team: Focusing on fundamentals, court awareness, and building a strong athletic foundation.

  • 7th & 8th Grade Team: Focusing on advanced skill sets, tactical play, and preparing athletes for high school competition.

Season Timeline

The season follows our traditional winter-focused schedule:

  • Start Date: Beginning of November

  • End Date: Mid-January

Registration & Requirements

While official registration will open soon, please take note of the following requirements to ensure your athlete is ready to play:

  • Registration Fee: $45.00 (Please make checks payable to The Chatfield School).

  • Sports Physicals: All student-athletes must have a current sports physical on file for the 2026-27 school year before they can participate in practices or games.

We are excited to share the details for our upcoming Boys’ Basketball Program! As we gear up for another great year on the court, we wanted to provide a preview of what athletes and parents can expect for the 2026-27 season.

Our program is designed to foster athletic growth, sportsmanship, and team spirit for boys in 5th through 8th grade.

Program Structure

To provide the best competitive experience and skill development, our teams are traditionally organized into two combined groups. However, if registration numbers allow, we hope to expand to three separate teams:

  • 5th & 6th Grade Team

  • 7th Grade Team

  • 8th Grade Team

Final team formations will be determined once registration is complete, tryouts happen, and we can assess our total number of athletes.
