The Chatfield Dolphins defeated the Mayfield Tigers to win the 40th Annual Lapeer Flag Football Super Bowl. The game started with an immediate touchdown when the Tigers kicked off to the Dolphins and Cody C. ran it all the way back for a touchdown. Two extra points were scored and the Chatfield Dolphins led 8 to 0. That score remained on the board until close to the end of the game when the Dolphins got caught in their end zone and Mayfield scored a safety. The score was then 8 to 2 with a minute left on the clock. The Dolphins kicked off to the Tigers who moved the ball down the field but because of the tough defensive stand by the Dolphins, led by Wyatt R., they were unable to score. The game ended with a score of 8 to 2. This was a total team effort with everyone playing their hearts out. The Dolphins and Coaches Jeff Chamberlain and Bob Jones accepted the winning trophy at the end of the game. WOW!!! Way to go Dolphins!!!

Chatfield at Murphy: First touchdown was scored when William T. threw a pass to Logan C. William scored the second touchdown followed by Cody C.. who ran the full length of the field with his patented spin move to score the third touchdown. Defense was tough with Machenzie H. saving three late touchdowns. Two more scores were added for a final score of Chatfield 34 - Murphy 12.
Chatfield at Bishop Kelly: Game started fast with William T., Parker W., TJ, Josh A., and Noah J. running the ball all over the place. Chatfield scored 3 quick TDs by William T. and a late toss from Parker W. to Logan C. for the 4th TD. Great blocking from Eddie B., Wyatt R., Heather S., and TJ. Awesome defensive effort from Sean L., Jack M., and Nolan K. The final score is Chatfield 24 - Bishop Kelly 12.
Turrill at Chatfield: Toughest test so far this year!! This team was very big and strong, dominating us for most of the first half with Turrilll leading 6-0. A halftime speech by Nolan K. brought our team out the second half much tougher. We got a score from Logan C. followed by Turrill scoring again to make it 13-6. On the ensuing kickoff, Josh A. ran through everyone to tie the game at 13-13. The game went into overtime where William T. ran in the end zone on the first play, followed by a 2 pt. conversion from William to Logan C. A goal-line stand by the defense brought us a victory. Chatfield at Schickler: Quick start with Cody C. scoring on the first play. The defense was stellar as usual, holding them to only two scores. Parker W. scored 3 times coming in as quarterback, with another toss to Logan C. on the bomb. Wyatt added 2 pts. as did Eddie B. for his first score of the year. Great effort today from Nolan K., Heather S., and one of our newest members, Jake S. who ran the ball extremely well. Final score: Chatfield 36 - Schickler 12
