Lower El - Mrs. Kobylik
Welcome to Shark Country!
Thank you to all of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to meet with me regarding your child's progress here at school!
Thank you to Mr. Hollingsworth, Mr. Louwaert, Mrs. St. Clair and Mrs. Brecht for sharing your occupations with us! Our students learned so MUCH from you!
Stop in and see our communities! In Social Studies, each class is designing a community to live and work in. We have Boyerstown, Bruecknerville and Kobylik City. After Winter Break, the students will begin learning how to run a business, how community government operates and how people live and work together in a community.
"Just how many "snowballs" would it take to cover this snowman?"
Although Mrs. Kobylik has been on staff at Chatfield for five years, this is her first year as a member of the Lower El team. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan and is ALMOSt finished with her Masters in Education as a Reading Specialist. Mrs. Kobylik's goal for her classroom is to create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable taking risks and continually strive to reach their full potential. She believes that relationships are a very important part of a young child's life. By fostering these relationships, Mrs. Kobylik can introduce all the wonderful things that school has to offer while instilling in children the love of learning.
